Latest Activity. Funding Application for heating at WAS
TRAK has recently completed an application for funding to install heat pumps and an airlock to improve the wintry conditions at the Working Art Space.
This was facilitated through Tasmanian Regional Arts Inc (Branching Out) Project Officer, Kylie Eastley, who has been working with committee members and Warren Butler to complete the application. Warren researched heating possibilities obtaining advice and quotes on a number of options then meeting with committee members at TRAK to discuss these. Gerald Monson (General Manager at Kentish Council) wrote an excellent letter of support for the project, which, if successful, will be auspiced by Tasmanian Regional Arts.

NEW EXHIBITIONS
We are very fortunate this month to have on show two exhibitions which are part of Tasmanian Regional Arts Travelling Exhibitions Program.
CUBES By Guy Carey is a display of photography, some of which are interestingly displayed on cubes. This allows for a variety of arrangements through different combinations.
FROM the EARTH is a textiles exhibition of Aukje Boonstra's art. The title is most apt as these works certainly have an earthy feel both due to the natural colours and the various textures.
These exhibitions complement the TRA-Kentish members' work which is on display
